Cornalin Fumin Malvoisie Malvoise Flétri Nus Pinot Noir
Malvoisie FlÉtri

Mavoisie Flétri

The Malvoisie of Nus was considered a delicious luxury wine by the eminent wine scholar Lorenzo Gatta even back in 1838.
Malvoisie Flétri is obtained from the best bunches of a special Pinot Grigio clone, semi-dried in well-ventilated shade. These are vinified forzata with a slow fermentation in small barrels making the wine one of the jewels of Aostan wine-making.

Colour: caldo giallo dorato intenso con evidenti sfumature ambrate e brillante.
Nose: very intense, persistent with obvious alcohol character. Undertones of mature fruit and dried figs characterize its complex aroma.
Taste: Gently sweet, with great softness and warmth.
Accompaniments: a great vino da meditazione, excellent with tegole della Valle d'Aosta (sweet, dry biscuits).
Serving temperature: 12°C (54°F)
Notes: a wine that lends itself to ageing (5-6 years) provided it's laid down in suitable conditions at a constant temperature of 10°-15°C (50°-59°F) and not exposed to light.
